Job summary

Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Pre-Assessment area. The role involves joining a supportive team, providing high-quality patient assessments prior to surgery and delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC) and bring relevant post-registration experience.
• Post-registration experience preferred; a team player with passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service.
• As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery.
• Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care.
• Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family.
• Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care.
• Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding continuity in patient care is key.
