Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Sister Charge Nurse for Bath Clinic. The role offers 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis, with a salary up to £48,500 depending on experience and qualifications.

You will lead a clinical team, ensure safe staffing levels, and drive high standards of patient care across shifts, mentoring junior staff and coordinating care pathways.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant specialty.
• Experience in leading and supervising a team within a clinical environment.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and coordination skills.
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and professional development.
• Leadership or management training (or willingness to undertake).
• Experience in audit, service improvement, or quality assurance projects.
• Familiarity with private healthcare systems and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients.
• Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care.
• Promote high standards of nursing practice through supervision, coaching, and role modelling.
• Allocate and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met.
• Support the development, appraisal, and competency assessment of junior nurses, HCAs, and students.
• Contribute to the induction and ongoing development of new staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and policies.

Overview

Sister Charge Nurse - Bath Clinic - 37.5 Hours & Permanent

Salary: Up to £48,500.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Duties Of This Role Include
