Circle Health Group in Winchester is seeking a Sister - Charge Nurse to lead the nursing team in the wards. This full-time post is 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern and a competitive salary. The role requires an NMC-registered adult nurse with proven leadership in an acute setting.

You will oversee clinical care, staffing, and patient flow, acting as a senior point of contact for complex cases while maintaining rigorous documentation and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant specialty.
• Experience in leading and supervising a team within a clinical environment.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and coordination skills.
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and professional development.
• Must have application of specialised Emergency knowledge in practice

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients.
• Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care.
• Allocate and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NMC and organisational standards.
• Act as a key liaison for patients, families, consultants, and members of the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with the coordination of admissions, discharges, and patient flow within the department

We have an opportunity for a Sister - Charge Nurse to join their team of staff in theNursing department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

Provide hands-on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients.

Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care.
