Position: Sister/Charge Nurse - Cystic Fibrosis/Bronchiectasis/Respiratory
Pearce Ward is a 20-bed unit caring for patients with Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, COPD, and Asthma. We offer bespoke, high-quality, specialist care with a full multidisciplinary team including medical and nursing staff, specialist Allied Health Professionals, respiratory physiotherapists, and administrative/support teams. Additionally, we have 2 day case beds aligned with the Cystic Fibrosis outpatient department.
We are seeking motivated, dynamic candidates with ambitions to develop their clinical skills and management capabilities in respiratory and chronic respiratory conditions. Suitable candidates will demonstrate high-quality compassionate care and a keen interest or background in respiratory, intensive care, or general medicine. Skills development opportunities include blood gases, venipuncture, cannulation, Non-Invasive Ventilation, and ward-based Level 2 care.
