SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site, London, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and work closely with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks that help build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend to planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Ensure SISS assets are maintained and station communication faults are reported and resolved
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion

Candidate Profile

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. It is ideal for those with experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
