Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site in London, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This role is a permanent night shift, Sunday to Thursday, from 10 pm to 6 am at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment to provide real-time maintenance data.
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is ideal for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician should have experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
