Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working with technical experts to make an impact. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and station communication systems
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates

Who you are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy learning and multitasking, with some experience or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
