Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will conduct planned preventive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies 6am-6pm and Lates 12pm-12am.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend to planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Utilise field IT equipment for maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates.
