Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts committed to making an impact. Contribute to maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies 6am-6pm and Lates 12pm-12am.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Perform planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
  • Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning, especially those with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
