SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work that helps build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This is a permanent night shift role, working Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, from our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend to planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks, fault updates, and completions

Ideal Candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who are eager to learn and can multitask. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Requirements:

• Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical systems
• Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
