SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team doing complex and critical work to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, from 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
2. Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Maintaining SISS assets and reporting/stemming station communication faults.
4. Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
5. Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.

Ideal candidate profile:

This is an entry-level role suitable for hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Familiarity with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
