SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical infrastructure tasks.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanently nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Ideal Candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Familiarity with O365 and IT skills
• Problem-solving and fault-finding abilities
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability for night shifts at Pirin Court Service Centre
