Job summary

Forces Recruitment Solutions Group Ltd is seeking a Simulator Maintenance Engineer to provide technical support and ensure uninterrupted operation of simulator training equipment. The role covers fault-finding, installation, commissioning and maintenance of multi-skilled electrical and mechanical systems, with IT proficiency and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• First-line troubleshooting and fault resolution with the ability to work autonomously as required.
• Fault finding, maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of simulation equipment.
• Carrying out software, hardware, and basic network configuration.
• Assess equipment performance so that it is available and ready for use.
• Perform pre- and post-use simulator checks.
• Complete technical reports and review technical data and drawings.
• Excellent communication and administration skills, both written and verbal.
• Comply with H&S guidelines at Company and customer site premises.

A defence solutions provider is seeking a Simulator Maintenance Engineer to provide technical support, ensuring the ongoing operation of simulator training equipment and carrying out maintenance and support. The Simulator Maintenance Engineer will have previous experience fault-finding, installation, commissioning, and maintaining equipment requiring multi-skilled engineering (electrical and mechanical). In addition, has proficiency in IT, be able to work under pressure and good customer service skills.
