Job summary

Find Recruitment Group LTD is seeking a Signalling Engineer to transition into a dedicated training role in Crewe with nationwide travel. You will deliver both practical and classroom training to apprentices and rail professionals, with full training provided and teaching qualifications funded.

The position offers a £55,000 salary plus car allowance and EV scheme, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to move off the tools into a technical training career across the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong rail signalling background required.
• Experience across signalling maintenance and/or installation.
• Confident communicator who enjoys supporting others.
• Mentoring or coaching experience would be beneficial.

I m working with a training provider looking for an experienced Signalling Engineer to move into a training role, delivering to apprentices and existing rail professionals.

No previous teaching experience or teaching qualifications are required. They re happy to recruit someone directly from industry and will provide full training and put you through the relevant teaching qualifications.

The role

• Deliver signalling training across maintenance, fault finding, installation and basic signalling
• Train and upskill Network Rail employees and other rail professionals
• Deliver a mix of classroom and practical-based sessions
• Work from the Crewe centre alongside delivery at client sites across the UK
• Support learners through their training and development

What they re looking for

• Strong background within rail signalling
• Experience across signalling maintenance and/or installation
• Good technical knowledge and practical experience
• Confident communicator who enjoys supporting and developing others
• Previous mentoring, coaching or apprentice support would be beneficial
• Willingness to travel nationwide
• No teaching qualification required
