Job summary

NETWORK RAIL, based in Scotland, is seeking a Full-Time Administrator to provide comprehensive support to the Section. You will manage rosters and timesheets, keep databases up to date, and assist with the Assessment in The Line process to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

The role involves general office duties, confidential filing, and close cooperation with the Section Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day running.

Qualifications

• Experience of clerical support and office management.
• Excellent time manager.
• Knowledge of relevant IT systems.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills.
• Desirable: Knowledge of operational railway environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Section.
• Manage rosters and timesheets and maintain accurate system records.
• Open/close works orders and support Assessment in The Line process.
• Maintain filing systems with confidentiality and safety-critical documentation.
• Collaborate with the Section Manager and other Administrators to ensure smooth operations.
