Job summary

Network Rail Scotland is seeking a Section Supervisor to support the Section Manager in inspection, maintenance and renewal of overhead line equipment assets. You will supervise delivery, ensure compliance with standards, and help develop work plans to deliver safe, efficient outcomes.

The role requires shift work, including night and weekend duties, with on-call availability. You will mentor staff, manage resources, maintain records and support asset condition assessments while safeguarding

Qualifications

• Experience directing and supervising worksites and the safe and efficient delivery of work.
• Knowledge of resource and work organisation/planning processes and systems.
• Knowledge and experience of signalling inspection, maintenance, renewal and asset condition assessment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and check the quality of work delivered and confirm assets are compliant to standards.
• Carry out work safely and in accordance with safe systems of work procedures and instructions.
• Assist in the development of work plans and allocation of resources.
• Provide information to update systems, databases and records.
