Job summary

Workforce Staffing is seeking an experienced Signage Metal Fabricator for a permanent role in Bromsgrove. The position offers consistent daytime hours, a 40-hour week, and a £16+ per hour pay rate.

You will fabricate signage components, MIG weld aluminium and mild steel, and interpret technical drawings as part of a skilled production team. The role involves cutting, folding and shaping sheet metal, using fabrication tools, and maintaining quality through careful measurement and inspection.

Qualifications

• Previous metal fabrication or sheet metal experience.
• Strong MIG welding skills, ideally with aluminium and mild steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Experience using fabrication tools and machinery.
• Good attention to detail and accurate measuring skills.
• A reliable, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating aluminium sheet metal products and bespoke signage components to technical drawings.
• MIG welding aluminium and mild steel components.
• Cutting, folding, bending and shaping sheet metal to meet project specifications.
• Using hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment to produce accurate components.
• Carrying out engineering tasks such as drilling, tapping, threading and countersinking.
• Measuring and checking finished components to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Working alongside other production departments to ensure projects are completed to the required standard.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised working environment.
