Job summary

Merson Signs is seeking a Trainee Signage Installer to join our field-based team across Newcastle and the Tyne and Wear area. This full-time, permanent role offers practical on-the-job training and real earning potential as you progress.

You will work with an established installation team, learning to install, maintain and repair signage while adhering to health and safety standards. Training is provided and paid for, with strong career prospects.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work across different shift patterns and travel out of town.
• CSCS card is required.
• Full, valid driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, high-quality signage installation across construction, retail and leisure sites.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of signage on site.
• Store and transport signage and tools safely.
• Complete van and tool reports.
• Work to agreed deadlines and maintain health and safety standards.
