Job summary

Merson Signs is seeking a Trainee Signage Installer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is field-based across Newcastle Upon Tyne and surrounding areas, supporting safe installation and maintenance of signage for well-known brands.

You'll learn from an experienced installation crew, work across sites, and gain practical skills with full training provided. A CSCS card and a valid driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Full, valid driving licence required.
• Flexible with shifts and travel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, high-quality installation of signage across sites.
• Follow instructions to install, maintain and repair signage.
• Keep work organised and on schedule, communicating with colleagues.
• Represent the company and provide a helpful service.
• Store and transport signage safely; complete van and tool reports.
• Work to agreed deadlines.
