Marks & Spencer is seeking a Store Detective to patrol our network of UK stores and deter, identify and arrest shop thieves. The role requires strong observational and communications skills, a calm approach under pressure and a proactive, adaptable attitude.

You will work with CCTV operators, liaise with police, and report incidents promptly. SIA licence is essential, with store detective experience highly desirable; M&S discount applies after six months of employment.

Formación

• Experience in customer-facing roles with a strong customer service background.
• Essential: SIA licence; store detective experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Able to observe, deter and arrest those committing theft in line with Theft Act.

Responsabilidades

• Observe, deter and arrest individuals involved in criminal activity.
• Follow ASCONE process and liaise with SOC CCTV operators to identify offenders.
• Collaborate with police and crime prevention partners to stay informed of local trends.
• Report incidents accurately and promptly; attend court when required.
