OCS is seeking a Security Officer for a site at Oxney Road, Peterborough. You will be responsible for maintaining safety and security across the site, acting as the first point of contact, and monitoring security and building management systems to respond to incidents.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, the right to work in the UK, and prior security experience, with strong communication and customer service skills to support a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence
• Previous experience in a security role
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsabilités

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service
• Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents
• Support a safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, damage, or defects
• Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site
• Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed
