Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a highly organised Security Officer to join our professional security team at a large venue. You will protect visitors and the building, ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities include first line support for staff and visitors, investigating incidents, managing crowd safety and queues, and responding to emergencies as outlined in plans. The ideal candidate will hold the SIA Door Supervisor licence and have rights to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential.
• Experience in security/customer service is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills in a public-facing role.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service.
• Investigate and report all allegations of loss, theft, criminal damage and other incidents.
• Managing crowd safety and queue management.
• Be aware of and react to emergency situations as detailed in the Incident and Emergency Plans.
• Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity.
