Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to be the first line of support for employees and visitors at the site on a monthly on-site rotation. You will monitor fire, security and building systems and ensure tasks are completed professionally and in line with legislation.

The ideal candidate has an SIA license, strong communication, and the ability to work on their own initiative, with reliable and punctual attendance; previous security experience is helpful.

• Experience in Security is advantageous.
• SIA licence is essential.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first line support to employees and visitors, providing a professional and friendly service.
• Monitor fire, security and building systems.
• Ensure tasks are completed professionally and in a timely manner, meeting legislation.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises security.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and activities.
• Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure coverage.
