Job summary

Corps Security in Derbyshire is seeking a professional SIA Licensed Security Officer to maintain a secure, welcoming environment for staff and visitors. You will control access, conduct site inductions and patrol the premises as required.

The role runs 42 hours per week on a 4-on 4-off pattern (0700–1900). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, IT proficiency (Excel) and a valid SIA Front-Line license; CCTV license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Front-line SIA license essential.
• SIA CCTV license desirable.
• Strong communication and customer focus.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and pressure.
• IT skills including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site and carry out regular patrols.
• Brief and sign in visitors and contractors on site.
• Record entry/exit of deliveries and process paperwork as per procedures.
• Ensure patrols are carried out to required standards.
• Set/unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out-of-hours security.
