Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer in Telford to provide a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will manage access control, site inductions and patrols, and respond to emergencies following predefined procedures.

The role requires a valid Front-Line SIA license (CCTV licence desirable), excellent communication, and a commitment to high professional standards across a 42-hour week (4 on, 4 off). Training records must be kept up to date.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA Front-Line License is essential.
• CCTV License is desirable.
• Excellent communication and strong customer service orientation.
• Willingness to work 42 hours per week with 4-on/4-off pattern.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing surveillance of the site and perform regular patrols.
• Ensure visitors and contractors are briefed and signed in/out.
• Record deliveries and process paperwork per quality procedures.
• Set and unset alarms for out-of-hours security if required.
• Complete daily occurrence logs, handovers and incident records.
• Follow Assignment Instructions and risk assessments; advise on improvements.
• Maintain training records and ensure first aid and fire marshal training is up to date.
• Display SIA licence at all times and uphold high professionalism.
