Job summary

Corps Security Ltd is seeking a qualified SIA licensed Security Officer to safeguard staff and visitors across a site with strict access control and regular patrols.

You will manage inductions, sign-ins, and incident reporting, while maintaining high professional standards and compliance with all procedures. The role offers a 42-hour week on a rotating 4-on/4-off pattern, with day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License is essential.
• Able to pass SC and Bank of England Vetting Standards and UK residence requirement (5 years).
• Full UK Driving License is desirable due to location.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Able to meet BS7858 vetting standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct body searches on female attendees as required.
• Maintain site surveillance with regular patrols and accurate records.
• Ensure visitors and contractors sign in/out and are briefed.
• Process delivery logs and paperwork following site procedures.
• Set/unset alarm systems for out-of-hours security where applicable.
• Complete daily logs, handovers and incident reports.
• Follow Assignment Instructions, risk assessments and safety documents.
• Keep training records current, including first aid and fire marshal training.
• Maintain professional standards and display SIA licence at all times.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
