Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly capable SIA-licensed Security Officer to protect staff and visitors on site. You will control access, conduct inductions and patrol the site while coordinating with management and emergency services as required.

You will work an average of 56 hours per week with a 6 on, 3 off rotating pattern (0600-1800). This role demands diligence, reliability, and a strong focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Front-Line License - essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence - essential.
• Excellent communication and strong customer focus.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Able to meet BS7858 vetting standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carry out regular patrols and record as required.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors are briefed, sign in/out.
• Record deliveries on site and process paperwork per procedures.
• Set and unset alarm systems for out-of-hours security if applicable.
• Complete daily logs, handovers and incident records accurately.
• Follow Assignment Instructions, risk assessments and safety documents.
• Keep training records up to date, including first aid and fire marshal training.
• Maintain high professional standards and display SIA license at all times.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
