Ward Security Limited is seeking an experienced Security Officer for a fast-paced corporate technology park in Nuneaton. You will be visible, approachable and proactive, ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment for clients, staff and visitors.

The role requires a valid Door Supervisor and CCTV SIA licence, a professional appearance and excellent customer service skills, plus the ability to remain calm under pressure. Shift pattern rotates and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' checkable employment, education and/or unemployment history in line with BS7858 vetting requirements.
• A valid Door Supervisor and CCTV SIA licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence may be needed for certain locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Reliable, professional and well-presented at all times.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a visible security presence with regular foot patrols across designated areas.
• Control access to the premises by checking IDs and authorisations.
• Monitor CCTV and alarms, responding to alerts as needed.
• Welcome and assist visitors, providing directions and escorting when required.
• Record incidents and interactions accurately in logs and reports.
• Conduct searches in line with company procedures.
• Respond to security incidents, escalating to authorities as required.
• Perform locking/unlocking duties in line with client requirements.
• Be a professional first point of contact for employees, visitors and contractors.
• Support safe working environment by maintaining health and safety standards.
