Job summary

Ward Security Limited is recruiting for an experienced Security Officer to join a dedicated on-site team in London. You’ll provide a visible, professional presence, delivering high levels of customer service while maintaining site security and safety for staff, visitors, tenants and contractors.

The role requires a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (CCTV licence preferred) and experience in corporate environments.

Qualifications

• A valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence is essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV Licence is preferred but not essential.
• Minimum of 5 years' checkable history in line with BS7858 vetting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a professional front-of-house service and manage site access for staff, visitors and contractors.
• Monitor CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems; respond to alerts and incidents.
• Carry out regular patrols of public areas, tenant perimeters and plant rooms.
• Identify and report security, health and safety concerns; escalate as needed.
• Respond calmly to emergencies and maintain clear incident reporting and handovers.
• Uphold Ward Security standards and deliver outstanding customer service throughout shifts.
