Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a vigilant security professional to protect property and assets on client sites in Dover. You will work to meet KPIs and SLAs while maintaining compliance with UK law and site policies.

The role requires a valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence, with mandatory ongoing training and licence renewals. You will report incidents promptly and adhere to scheduled check-ins on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security roles.
• SIA Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of and ensure compliance with all policies and relevant legal requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Fully complete all tasks on site as defined in published Assignment Instructions.
• Review changes in Assignment Instructions to suggest improvements to service levels.
• Renew your front-line licence 16 weeks before expiry.
• Maintain safety and incident reporting, including accurate notebook entries.
• Call emergency services and the Communications Centre to report incidents.
