BardWood Support Services is hiring an Area Relief Officer to provide site-based security and customer-facing support across Caerphilly, Cardiff, Blackwood and Abertillery. The role operates Monday to Friday with day shifts, from 08:45 to 17:15, and involves ensuring safety and security for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• 5-year checkable work/career history is required.
• Experience in customer-facing environments is preferred.
• Candidate must be physically fit and able to work under pressure.
• Flexible attitude and adaptability are important.
• Security and operational system competence is expected.

Responsabilités

• Provide relief cover to multiple locations within a region.
• Adhere to site operational guidance and instructions.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.
• Offer proactive, public-facing presence and directional guidance.
• Resolve conflicts on client premises in collaboration with others.
• Ensure compliance with site rules and guidance by the public.
• Maintain a smart appearance and a visible security presence.
• Administer first aid as trained, and report incidents clearly.
• Support a welcoming environment and high service standards.
