Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA licensed Nightshift Security Officer in Corby. You will provide a secure environment through access control, site inductions, and patrols, following escalation procedures with management and emergency services.

You will work 42 hours per week on a 4-on, 4-off night rotation, maintaining vigilance and professionalism at all times. A full UK driving license and strong IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Front‑Line License - essential.
• A Full UK Manual Driving License - essential.
• Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site with regular patrols and record as required.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors are briefed and signed in/out.
• Record deliveries and process paperwork per site quality procedures.
• Ensure patrols are conducted to required standards.
• Set/unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out‑of‑hours security.
• Comply with site waste management procedures and safety documents.
• Maintain training records and keep SIA skills up to date.
