Job summary

Octavius Infrastructure Limited is recruiting a Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SHW) Manager to lead our SHW agenda across UK operations. This hybrid role supports teams nationwide, with frequent travel to sites and offices, ensuring our SHW standards are consistently upheld.

You will influence a culture of safety and wellbeing, coach SHW Advisors and site teams, and drive continuous improvement across major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Significant SHW management experience in civil engineering, rail, or highways infrastructure.
• Proven ability to deliver compliance, investigations, and continuous improvement in SHW.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and major infrastructure challenges.

Responsibilities

• Champion a culture placing safety, health, and wellbeing at the heart of every project.
• Lead SHW Advisors and frontline teams to uphold best-in-class standards.
• Provide coaching, guidance and assurance to ensure legal compliance and ongoing improvement.
• Drive SHW innovation from incident investigations to proactive campaigns and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners to embed SHW priorities across work activities.
• Represent Octavius at industry forums and with key stakeholders.
