Octavius Infrastructure Limited is seeking a SHW Advisor based in the South West to support the Regional Civil Engineering (RCE) team delivering highways and infrastructure projects across the region.

You will provide specialist SHW advice on live sites, lead investigations, and help embed safety best practices while collaborating with delivery teams and clients.

Hybrid working is available, with opportunities for professional development and a strong focus on safety culture.

Qualificações

• NEBOSH Certificate is required at minimum.
• Appropriate CSCS Card is required.
• GCSE Maths & English (Level 4+) or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Experience in civil engineering or construction (1+ year).
• Strong knowledge of SHW management systems and best practice.
• Experience of incident investigations, audits and reporting.
• Auditor Training is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialist Safety, Health and Wellbeing (SHW) advice across live sites and offices in RCE.
• Serve as operational SHW lead, enabling safe and healthy workplaces and compliance with legislation.
• Support site teams to embed SHW best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead accident and incident investigations and ensure lessons are shared.
• Coordinate audits, inspections and assurance reviews (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, RISQS).
• Represent Octavius at project and client SHW meetings.
