Job summary

Foundation Personnel are recruiting a local Shuttering Carpenter for a major project in Headington, Oxfordshire.

You will construct and assemble formwork from harness for concrete structures, reading technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and safety on site. Hours are 07:30–18:00, rate £24.25 per hour, with no lodge or travel unless stated.

Qualifications

• Safety Critical Medical (Essential)
• MEWP or Harness (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Building temporary molds (shuttering) for concrete structures such as columns, walls, and beams
• Assembling and dismantling formwork
• Working from harness
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring accuracy, alignment, and structural integrity of formwork
• Working closely with steel fixers and concrete teams
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting general site duties when required
• Following all site health & safety procedures
• Maintaining strict health & safety standards on site
