Job summary

Ballycommon is seeking experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join our team in Southampton. You will construct and dismantle shuttering and formwork for concrete structures, reading drawings and maintaining quality on large RC frame projects.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team. Valid CSCS Card and right-to-work in the UK are required, with willingness to train as needed.

Responsibilities

• Shuttering and Formwork: Construct and dismantle shuttering and formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications.
• Reading Drawings: Interpret and work from technical drawings, ensuring that all measurements and alignments are accurate.
• Material Handling: Select and prepare the appropriate materials for shuttering and formwork, ensuring they are ready for concrete pouring.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, making adjustments as necessary to achieve the best results.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in shuttering and formwork carpentry, with a proven track record of working on large-scale RC frame projects. You must have good experience in carpentry and core work.
