Job summary

Ballycommon is seeking experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join our Coventry team. The role focuses on shuttering and formwork carpentry for large-scale RC frame projects, requiring strong on-site experience and a proven track record in precision carpentry.

Ideal candidates will be CSCS card holders, able to read technical drawings, and physically fit for construction site duties; reliable, punctual, and team-oriented individuals are preferred.

• Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter.

Responsibilities

• Shuttering and Formwork: construct and dismantle shuttering and formwork for concrete structures.
• Reading Drawings: interpret drawings and ensure accurate measurements and alignments.
• Material Handling: prepare materials for shuttering and formwork.
• Quality Assurance: inspect work to meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments.
• Health and Safety: comply with on-site safety regulations.

Role Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join our team in Coventry. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in shuttering and formwork carpentry, with a proven track record of working on large-scale RC frame projects. You must have good experience in carpentry and core work.

Key Responsibilities

• Shuttering and Formwork: Construct and dismantle shuttering and formwork for concrete structures, ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications.
• Reading Drawings: Interpret and work from technical drawings, ensuring that all measurements and alignments are accurate.
• Material Handling: Select and prepare the appropriate materials for shuttering and formwork, ensuring they are ready for concrete pouring.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, making adjustments as necessary to achieve the best results.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

To Be Successful You Must Have

• Previous experience as a Formwork Carpenter.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• NVQ Carpenter.
• Formwork Carpentry: 2 years (Preferred).
• Able to operate in a flexible and adaptable manner and work as part of a team.
• Open to attending training programmes to increase individual skills and knowledge.
