Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Class 2 Shunter Driver for a busy transport operation in West Thurrock. The role offers an ongoing afternoon shift with a competitive £18.00 per hour rate and consistent 2PM–10PM hours from Monday to Friday.

You'll shunt trailers, conduct vehicle safety checks, and liaise with warehouse teams to keep yard movements efficient and safe. A valid UK Class 2 licence, CPC, and tachograph card are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous shunting or yard experience preferred
• Good communication skills and a strong safety focus
• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
