Job summary

Pertemps in Tottenham is recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Shunter Driver to join a well-established packaging and distribution operation. This is a nights role with consistent hours and a supportive team environment.

In this position you will shunt vehicles, move stock trailers, and ensure safe vehicle movements. Immediate start, weekly pay, and ongoing opportunities with a stable employer are available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 licence is required.
• CPC and Tachograph cards must be valid.
• Experience in shunting or yard transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shunting vehicles and trailers safely around the yard and site.
• Moving stock trailers between warehouse and loading areas.
• Positioning vehicles for loading and dispatch.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Working closely with warehouse and transport teams.
• Ensuring all vehicle movements are completed safely and efficiently.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures on site.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Shunter Driver to join a well-established packaging and distribution business based in Tottenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver seeking ongoing work with consistent hours and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Shunting vehicles and trailers safely around the yard and site
• Moving stock trailers between warehouse and loading areas
• Positioning vehicles for loading and dispatch
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Working closely with warehouse and transport teams
• Ensuring all vehicle movements are completed safely and efficiently
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures on site

Requirements

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous shunting, yard, or transport experience preferred
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
