Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Class 2 Shunter Driver for night shifts in Tottenham. You'll work 6pm–3am, Monday to Friday, with immediate start and weekly pay. £17.00 per hour, ongoing work with a supportive team in a busy packaging and distribution operation.

Role involves shunting, vehicle safety checks, and close coordination with warehouse and transport colleagues to maintain safe, efficient site movements.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Valid CPC qualification card.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Shunting/yard or transport experience preferred.
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Shunting vehicles and trailers safely around the yard and site.
• Moving stock trailers between warehouse and loading areas.
• Positioning vehicles for loading and dispatch.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Working closely with warehouse and transport teams.
• Ensuring all vehicle movements are completed safely and efficiently.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures on site.
