Job summary

Encirc Ltd in Elton, Cheshire is seeking a Shunter Driver to keep our logistics operation moving safely and efficiently. You will move trailers, prepare loads for dispatch, and support the day-to-day running of a busy site.

The role requires a valid Category C+E driving licence, experience in warehousing or logistics, and a safety-first mindset. You’ll work 12-hour shifts on a 39-hour week with opportunities to develop within a growing glass manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C+E Driving Licence.
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or dispatch environment.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely across our busy manufacturing site.
• Position trailers ready for loading and unloading.
• Prepare trailers by opening curtains, moving straps and ensuring they're ready for action.
• Secure loads to customer requirements so they're safe for transport.
• Carry out vehicle and trailer safety checks, reporting any defects.
• Complete trailer audits and support the Operations team.
• Keep the yard clean, safe and well organised.
• Champion health and safety in everything you do.
