Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our well-known client based in Warrington. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Shifts are 4 days per week with 12-hour shifts; day or night options available, and you may work any day from Monday to Sunday. Pay rates include Days £17.15 and £21.65 on Fridays, Nights £18.40 and £22.62 on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card.
• Maximum 6 points (minor offences only).
• Able to pass assessment (theory + practical).
• Good understanding of WTD legislation.

Responsibilities

• Shunting trailers within the yard to ensure smooth operations.
• Safely manoeuvring vehicles in tight and busy spaces.
• Carrying out pre- and post-shift vehicle checks.
• Following all health & safety procedures.
• Communicating with yard and dispatch teams.
• Reporting defects promptly.
• Supporting general yard duties when required.
