Encirc, Elton, Cheshire is seeking a Shunter Driver on a permanent basis. You will move trailers, prepare loads for dispatch and support the operations team in a busy logistics environment. This role involves 12‑hour shifts (days/nights) and contributes to moving millions of bottles annually.

The successful candidate will hold a C+E licence, have warehouse/logistics experience, and demonstrate a proactive safety mindset with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• A valid Category C+E Driving Licence.
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or dispatch environment.
• Safety-first mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Flexible, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well as part of a busy operations team.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely across our busy manufacturing site.
• Position trailers ready for loading and unloading.
• Prepare trailers by opening curtains, moving straps and ensuring they're ready for action.
• Secure loads to customer requirements so they're safe for transport.
• Carry out vehicle and trailer safety checks, reporting any defects.
• Complete trailer audits and support the Operations team.
• Keep the yard clean, safe and well organised.
• Champion health and safety in everything you do.
