Job summary

Porcelanosa SA in Croydon is seeking a Showroom Trade Consultant to deliver outstanding customer service and drive showroom sales of bathrooms, kitchens and related products. You will promote the Porcelanosa brand, maintain product knowledge, and work with local developers and contractors to grow sales.

The role requires genuine face-to-face sales experience, a valid driving licence, and a proactive, results-driven mindset. Monday–Friday work hours and a commission scheme are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written and numerical literacy.
• Valid driving licence is required.
• At least 1 year experience in a similar showroom role.
• Experience with customer-facing sales and a strong brand presence.

Working as part of the Croydon showroom team, the Showroom Trade Consultant will deliver an excellent sales performance through providing the customer with exceptional service. They help deliver and grow the company’s brand at all levels. They deliver all set company procedures in line with the Operations Manual, and always promote and assist the company in achieving its goals and strategy. This Sales Consultant will be selling Bathrooms, Kitchens & other Group products.

Key skills and responsibilities of the job:

• Ensure the customer base is updated and aware of all enquiry points, contact names, and methods of operation to meet their requirements.
• Be familiar with all personnel working within the client’s business, and that they are familiar with the Porcelanosa brand and image.
• Be fully conversant with the complete range and technical specifications of our products to facilitate suitable procurement solutions to meet the customer’s needs.
• Ensure all local bespoke developers, small bespoke builders, contractors and project management companies receive regular contact with you or other appropriate members of Porcelanosa to provide updated specifications and price lists.
• Develop and encourage existing and prospective customers to purchase Porcelanosa products in preference to competitors based on product quality, unique solutions and service.
• Introduce all new products and services offered by Porcelanosa in line with the current business strategy.
• Liaise with all levels of staff within the Company to ensure customer expectations and service levels are achieved.
• Be aware of market trends as well as competitors’ activities, product ranges, strengths and weaknesses.
• Maintain clear and accurate reporting procedures regarding all business activities and ensure all communications are submitted in a timely fashion.
• Aspire to accomplish set sales targets, aiming to exceed both the monthly and annual sales targets.

• At least 1 year’s experience within a similar role.
• Preferably someone with a Kitchen, Bathroom or Tiles background, but not essential.

Education and Qualifications

• A good level of verbal, written and numerical literacy.
• Valid driving licence.
