Job summary

Pooky is seeking a Full-Time Showroom Assistant in Gloucester to host customers, assist with product decisions, and support design projects. The role requires hands-on showroom maintenance, sample wall replenishment, and friendly customer service across emails and calls.

Ideal candidates will have showroom or retail experience, while familiarity with interiors or lighting is a plus. The position offers a structured schedule and team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Retail/showroom experience preferred (3 yrs).
• Stakeholder management experience desirable.
• Interiors and/or lighting industry experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ensure they are looked after (tea/coffee etc.).
• Keep sample wall replenished.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and refreshed displays; straighten lamps.
• Assist with customer service via emails and phones.
• Label products and ensure prices are correct.
• Replenish seconds showroom and label with correct discounts.
