Job summary

Vertu Land Rover Yeovil is seeking a Showroom Host to be the friendly face of the dealership, greeting customers, handling inquiries, and guiding them to the right teams. You will manage data, messages, and showroom communications, while maintaining a professional reception area.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, IT literacy, and the ability to coordinate health and safety training and team travel/accommodation as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong IT literacy and familiarity with basic office software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Outstanding communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Proven experience delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, welcoming environment for customers in person or on the phone.
• Collect and accurately record customer details; pass messages to correct departments.
• Maintain a clean, professional reception area and present a neat appearance.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and communicate outcomes to relevant teams.
• Create and manage posts to enhance the dealership's online presence.
• Ensure showroom and dealership property are well-kept and orderly.
• Oversee orders for stationary and manage the service diary for sales.
• Follow up with customers to measure satisfaction and gather feedback.
• Organize and coordinate Health & Safety training for the team.
• Assist with arranging and booking accommodation for team training programs.
