Job summary

B&Q Huddersfield is seeking a Showroom Advisor Apprentice to help customers select finance, products and installation options and to design inspiring project visuals. You’ll collaborate with installers to fulfill orders and deliver great service.

The role runs on a 36.75-hour week with shifts Mon–Sun, including evenings and weekends. You will work towards the Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship over approximately 13 months, with ongoing training and potential permanent

Qualifications

• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to work weekends/evenings/bank holidays on rota.
• Interest in sales and design software to assist customer projects.
• Training to be provided through on-the-job workshops and apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Ask questions to recommend finance, products and installation options.
• Use software to produce inspirational designs that bring customer projects to life.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers through to delivery.
• Work closely with colleagues and installers to ensure the best service on every project.
