Job summary

B&Q Coatbridge is hiring a Showroom Advisor on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) for a 3‑month fixed term contract. The role focuses on customer service and guiding customers through design, finance, products and installation options.

You’ll use software to create inspirational designs and coordinate multiple projects, supporting customers both in person and online. Weekend/evening/bank holiday rota required.

Qualifications

• Sales‑driven with focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to convert designs into sales and meet targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with colleagues and installers.

Responsibilities

• Ask questions to understand needs and recommend finance, products and installation options.
• Use software to produce inspirational designs for customer projects.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers both virtually and face‑to‑face.
• Take customers from ideas to delivery, helping turn dreams into reality.
