Job summary

ABM UK is seeking an on-site Cleaning Supervisor at Dolphin Centre in Poole, working Wednesday to Saturday for 39 hours per week. You will lead the cleaning and yard waste removal teams, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction at a busy retail centre.

You will train staff, ensure compliance with ABM health and safety procedures, and act as a point of contact on site in the Soft Services Manager’s absence. Competitive hourly rate and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning/supervisory role.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy operational environment.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and purchase orders using ABM Apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage a team to deliver high cleaning service within a shopping centre.
• Supervise on-site operations and assist Centre Managers as needed.
• Train team on ride-on sweepers and scrubber-dryers and ensure equipment safety.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and PPE worn.
• Clean toilets, restrooms, lifts, and hard surfaces to high standards.
• Handle ad hoc duties and respond to client callouts and spillages.
