Job summary

ABM UK in Poole is seeking a Supervisory Cleaning Operative to lead the on-site cleaning team at Dolphin Centre, ensuring services meet ABM standards and safety policies. The role demands practical leadership in a fast-paced retail environment and the ability to coordinate with managers to keep operations running smoothly.

You will supervise toilets, lifts, and waste removal tasks, train colleagues, allocate shifts, and act as on-site contact when needed. Shift: Wed–Sat, 39 hours/week, £14/hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead a team in a busy environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage a team to deliver high cleaning service across the shopping centre.
• Supervise toilets, lifts, restrooms and waste removal tasks.
• Set up, stock and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed on site.
• Coordinate with Soft Services Manager and Centre Operations Manager.
